Why I started the Business

Taken from Greek, Agapé, means love or charity. I started Agape Tutoring out of my love for teaching. Instruction, and its concomitant caring, is in my very being. My aim is always to impart knowledge, spark an interest in learning, and promote confidence. I will work toward understanding your student(s) and listen to your aims and goals for them. I also wish to support and encourage you, the parent, in this educational journey. As a homeschool mom of a neurodiverse student who is now a college graduate, I will use the same consistency, commitment and creative approach with your child(ren) that led us to success in learning.

What Parents are saying about me

About Me

Educationally, I have a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and a master’s degree in Exercise Science. Science has always been my passion, but I also enjoy math and its strategies.

The last 3 1/2 years I have been teaching at Rio Salado College, instructing adult ESL and GED Math learners.

I love teaching groups of students science. I created and delivered a variety of science courses throughout my homeschooling years, from elementary to high school science. Do you have a pod of students who would enjoy engaging, hands-on learning in science? Please contact me.

As a result of my own daughter’s neurodiversity, I am familiar with and have experience with a variety of curriculums and approaches for children with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia.

My availability varies but I do have openings M-Th during the daytime 9am – 4pm. Please contact me to discuss scheduling.

I currently have openings in a Math-U-See pod of advanced learners (epsilon or above) on Tuesdays at 9am in Litchfield Park.  Please contact me if you have a learner interested in joining.
