Where have you taught or what is your background and experience?	I am the Founder of BookBloom, where I provide 1:1 structured reading intervention support using SLANT/ Orton Gillingham Structured Literacy for students who need explicit, individualized support. I am a certified special education teacher in Arizona and Illinois with over 20 years of experience teaching special education, homeschooling a neurodiverse son, executive functioning skills, and differentiated instruction across elementary, middle and high school settings. My background includes serving as a special education teacher, literacy specialist, curriculum developer, and student success advocate, supporting learners with diverse needs through data driven, evidence based practices. I hold a bachelor's in Special Education, master’s degree in Curriculum and Leadership and am trained in the SLANT Orton Gillingham approach to teaching reading. Through BookBloom, I now work with students locally in North Scottsdale and virtually nationwide, helping struggling readers build skills, confidence, and independence.
