I (Suzanna Faust) am the owner of Confident Calculator Tutoring, LLC. I have been a tutor since before I graduated High School in 2016. In 2016-2017 I ran a math challenge and STEM competition programs at Desert Oasis Elementary School. I was homeschooled until high school when I switched to an online public high school. I completed teaching internships at both DOES and Arizona Agribusiness and Equine Center (AAEC). My student teaching was completed at AAEC where I taught study skills, Algebra 1, Title 1 Classes, and Personal Finance. I graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s in Mathematics for Secondary Education with a minor in Honors, and I am a certified Secondary Education Teacher with an SEI endorsement. I tutored students in mathematics throughout my college years at GCU, and after graduation in 2020 I began tutoring independently through my business. I am excited that my sister, Julianna Druyor, is joining my business to help support students as a paraprofessional. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Grand Canyon University. She has completed two Habilitation Care Courses, Article 9 Course, and is CPR/First-Aid certified. She has experience as a nanny and is currently also providing In-Home Habilitation Care to DDD clients. She has a passion for helping those with diverse learning and emotional needs to become more independent by helping them develop the skills they need to succeed both academically and socially. We both strive to help students become more confident in their skills and in themselves. We work to prepare them now with skills they will need to succeed in wherever their future takes them.
