Home Grown Learning

My own son loves growing food on our aeroponic tower garden, and the results were nothing short of amazing again. After planting Swiss chard seeds and eagerly monitoring their progress, he was excited to watch the towering plant flourish before his eyes. With each new leaf that emerged, he gained a greater understanding of the plant’s needs and the importance of proper care and maintenance.
One of the most rewarding aspects of growing food at home is the ability to enjoy the fruits of your labor. For my son, this meant harvesting a massive Swiss chard leaf and savoring its crisp, leafy goodness. Knowing that he played a role in producing the food on his plate made the experience all the more meaningful.

Tower Gardens give kids the ability to learn beyond the basic principles of plant biology.  Tower Gardens also provide valuable lessons in pollination and the interconnectedness of ecosystems. By observing pollinators such as bees and butterflies in action, children gain a deeper understanding of the crucial role they play in food production.

In such a busy work these days it’s nice to reconnect with nature and foster a deeper understanding of the food we eat. Through hands-on experience and immersive learning, children can cultivate not only vibrant gardens but also lifelong lessons in sustainability, nutrition, and the wonders of the God’s creation.
