Our Overnight Summer Camps are a classic sleepaway camp experience for children ages 6–12, where adventure, friendship, and personal growth come together in a supportive outdoor setting. With over 70 years of tradition, SJYC has created a welcoming community where campers can unplug from daily routines, explore nature, and build confidence. Each 7-day, 6-night session is filled with cabin living, campfires, songs, games, and a wide variety of activities including horseback riding, archery, kayaking, hiking, arts and crafts, and hands-on STEAM experiences. Campers are encouraged to try new things, develop independence, and build strong friendships while learning teamwork and communication skills. Days are thoughtfully structured to balance fun, skill-building, and exploration, while evenings bring the camp community together through group activities and traditions that create lasting memories. SJYC is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for every camper and is proud to be <ESA-friendly. Transportation is provided from Phoenix to camp and back.
