Day Camp is a fun and engaging outdoor summer program designed for kids ages 6–12 who are ready to explore, create, and make new friends—all while enjoying the beauty of camp during the day. Building on more than 75 years of camp tradition, this program brings the spirit of SJYC’s overnight camp into a flexible day camp experience. Each day is filled with hands-on activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Campers participate in a wide variety of experiences, including archery, arts and crafts, outdoor games, hiking, and interactive STEAM projects. Every activity is designed to help children try new things, build skills, and feel a sense of accomplishment. Beyond the activities, our Day Camp focuses on fostering friendships, teamwork, and a strong sense of belonging. Campers are supported by experienced, caring staff who create a welcoming and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. SJYC is proud to be <ESA-friendly. Transportation is available from Flagstaff to camp and back, providing a convenient and safe option for daily attendance.
