Services
Skyward Youth Aviation’s curriculum was designed to introduce students to the world of aviation but also develop the student as an individual. We are excited to offer a variety of courses & programs throughout the year that include aviation clubs & camps. We look forward to helping each student reach new heights.
Aviation 101: Students spend 10 exciting days engaged in the world of aviation and aerospace using content rich instruction and hands-on flight simulator practice.
Initial Pilot Prep: Open to students age 13+. Prepares students for Pre Solo Knowledge exams and the FAA Private Pilot Practice Knowledge Test. Located at our state-of-the-art facility in Scottsdale, our sessions follow the ASA Private Pilot Test Prep Handbook. Each student receives 12 hours of combined instruction and use of flight simulators as well as two demonstration glider flights arranged by instructor.
Flight Training: Open to students age 13+. Designed for the student who is ready to achieve solo flight in pursuit of a private pilot certificate with a glider rating. Students receive combined ground instruction, glider flight simulator practice, flight training in accordance with the FAA requirements and ASA Private Pilot Test Prep Handbook.
Dynamic Learning – we provide unique programs for students with curriculum and learning opportunities that introduce students to aviation and related fields using STEM-based standards.
Achieving Goals – Students develop Individual Learning Goals and Intentions allowing them to track their progress and develop a foundation for setting (& achieving) goals in the future.
Aviation Concepts – Learning takes place beyond textbooks. The Skyward Youth curriculum is enriched with activities, projects, and field trips. We are proud to offer our students access to state-of-the-art equipment and industry professionals.

Why I started the Business
Skyward Youth Aviation Academy is a program of Fledging Youth, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to introducing students to aviation and enhancing their confidence in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering & Math.
