Our team consists of top-tier tutors with a wealth of experience and training in the areas of speech language pathology techniques, behavior management techniques, occupational therapy techniques, dyslexia programming, and Orton-Gillingham methodology.
We use our special mixture of warmth, enthusiasm, dedication, and expertise to help children reach their full potential.
We believe that every child can learn and every teacher can be a highly effective, confident educator. We help children to be successful learners, especially those with unique learning differences such as dyslexia, autism, and ADHD. We believe that systematic, direct, multi-sensory instruction provided by a highly trained educator will lead to a love of learning, a boost in confidence, and a strong academic foundation.
Why I started the Business
I started Marmalade Skies in 2019 to help children with challenges receive consistent, high-quality academic support. I saw how multidisciplinary providers (speech, occupational, behavioral) could accelerate a child’s academic progress when the providers worked together as a team

About Me
I have an extensive background in special education which is detailed on my main website and I have three beautiful children of my own. Two of my learners have been diagnosed with autism and comorbid disorders. My journey has taught me empathy for parents who have children with disabilities. I know the deep personal and financial sacrifices that we parents have to make. I saw how hard it was for me – a person with training and extensive experience in special education – to navigate the resources necessary to help my children. I can’t imagine how overwhelming that journey must be for parents without my background. I am a resource for such parents and its why Marmalade Skies offers parents help navigating the world of special needs and why we work with parents’ multidisciplinary providers and establish team meetings for them. It’s a hard job – we’re here to help.
