Inspire Academy serves elementary through high school students with in-person educational support through our Microschool located in Sun City, Arizona. Founded with a deep commitment to inclusion, social and emotional learning, entrepreneurship, and community engagement, our school transforms lives of families and students. We serve families in the Greater Phoenix area. Inspire Academy serves families seeking a unique and tailored educational experience for their children. Our specialized program supports ALL students, including those with learning differences, embrace diversity and provide a supportive environment. Why I started the Business
In my journey through education, I’ve discovered a passion for making a difference in the lives of students. With over two decades of experience, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a beacon of inspiration at Inspire Academy of Schools. At Inspire Academy, I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment where every student feels valued and supported. As an educational consultant specializing in special education, I’ve dedicated myself to empowering families to navigate the complex world of tailored education plans with confidence. My commitment to personalized learning, social-emotional development, and embracing neurodiversity shapes every aspect of our programs at Inspire Academy. I believe that education goes beyond the classroom, fostering a sense of belonging and support that extends to both students and their families. Outside of my professional endeavors, I’m deeply involved in the community, forging meaningful connections between families and specialized school programs. Together, we create a nurturing environment where learning is a joy and futures are shaped with care and dedication. About Me
I, Irishia Reed Williams, am a passionate advocate for inclusive education and empowering parents to participate in their children’s educational journey actively. With a background in special education and a deep commitment to supporting children with diverse needs, I have dedicated my career to promoting awareness, collaboration, and positive change in the field of special education.
With over 20 years of experience as an educator, including 15 years as a Certified Education and Program Specialist, I have developed and cultivated an inclusive environment where students (of all ages) with varying abilities learn to thrive. This includes the teaching and training of students and teachers from preschool through adult learners with varying needs, including, but not limited to: Autism, learning disabilities, other health impairments, intellectual disabilities, and emotional disturbance just to name a few.
Through my educational consulting company, Educational Ties, I and my team guide families in developing advocacy skills to assess education services, evaluate classroom policies, and monitor the effectiveness of their child’s services through Individualized Education Program (IEPs) and/or 504 plans. Coaching parents on how to assess – and ultimately advocate – for various special education services allows us to report on the effectiveness of these current systems within a student’s education program. From there, I work with families to develop comprehensive strategies to improve educational quality and equity.
My newest endeavor, Inspire Academy, is where education is not just about textbooks and classrooms but a journey of personal growth and inspiration. At Inspire Academy, we specialize in tailored learning paths, ensuring every student, like the one I just described, finds their passion and excels. Our mission is to ignite success by nurturing a passion for learning, fostering social and emotional development, and instilling a mindset geared towards college, career, and entrepreneurship. Our program supports all self-directed students including those with neurodiversity and special needs students and equips them with the tools and knowledge to excel in an ever-evolving world.Our approach goes beyond academics; it’s about creating a supportive community where students thrive emotionally and socially.
