***Starting in January 2024, we will be offering our Prodigypreneurs Academy. This will be a complete microschool for grades 2-5. Limit of 15 spots for our first semester. Contact us soon! This school is geared for kids who like to move at an individualized pace and reach their goals. We will also focus on real world skills by incorporating chess, young entrepreneurs, Genius Hour, etc. To go directly to our microschool info, go to: https://www.coyscampsandclasses.com/prodigypreneurs-academy.html
We provide enrichment activities including Chess (classes, camps, and tournaments), Young Entrepreneurship, Coding, etc. There are many programs out there that are to help struggling kids catch up. Those are great. However, our aim to offer programs for those looking to get ahead. Our programs are offered in person and our business is conveniently located in the Tucson Mall which allows for parents to be able to walk around, shop, get something to eat, or just relax while their child is in class. For current schedules, please check out our main website: coyscampsandclasses.com.
I was an elementary school teacher and a chess mom. As schools started pushing more for in the "No Child Left Behind", I saw a need for more enrichment programs. I started off with offering chess as I saw all the benefits of it with my kids as well as my students. So that was our start. I have found that I missed teaching so that is why we are adding a pre-K and kindergarten curriculum. Neither of which are day care, but more like classes. I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit and received a Bachelors and Master's Degree in Business. I decided to combine all these interests and Coy's Camps And Classes was created. We are very excited to have it continue and grow.
