Services
Atlas Tutoring Services offers a Preschool Learning Lab, STEM Learning Lab, and one-on-one tutoring designed to support different learning styles while helping students build confidence and curiosity for learning.
Our Preschool Learning Lab focuses on early childhood development in a small, supportive learning pod environment. Young learners practice essential life skills, social interaction, emotional regulation, and early academic foundations through structured play and hands-on activities. Children build confidence while learning routines, following directions, developing communication skills, and gaining independence. Our goal is to help each child feel comfortable learning, exploring, and preparing for future classroom success.
We also offer a STEM Learning Lab and individual tutoring sessions to support students who want to strengthen academic skills or explore science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on learning experiences.
We provide both in-person and virtual learning options. Our in-person programs serve families in Peoria, Surprise, and Glendale, Arizona, while virtual preschool classes and tutoring are available for students who prefer to learn from home.
Why I Started My Business
We started Atlas Tutoring Services through our own family’s journey. As parents of a child with special needs who struggled in traditional school settings, we quickly learned that every child learns differently.
That experience opened our eyes to how powerful the right support, patience, and learning environment can be. It inspired us to create a place where children are encouraged to learn in the way that works best for them, build confidence, and discover that they are capable of succeeding.
About Me
Our programs are led by Nicole and Josh, who bring a combination of early childhood learning support and technical STEM experience. Josh has a professional background in engineering, electronics, and scientific measurement systems.
He holds an Associate of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering Technology, advanced training in industrial instrumentation and process controls, and multiple technical certifications. His experience allows students to explore real-world science and engineering concepts through hands-on learning that makes STEM engaging and practical.
Our Preschool Learning Lab focuses on early childhood development in a small, supportive learning pod environment and is led by Nicole, who has years of experience working with young learners.
The program focuses on foundational skills such as ABC recognition, early reading development, number recognition, and counting, along with daily routines like calendar time, days of the week, and seasonal learning. Through structured activities, guided play, and supportive instruction, children build confidence, independence, and early academic foundations that help prepare them for kindergarten and future classroom success.
